The Texas TRUST V2X Accelerator project is one of three nationally funded FHWA deployment efforts focused on advancing large-scale connected transportation infrastructure and operations. This presentation will provide an update on the project’s implementation progress across Texas, including deployment status, systems engineering lessons learned, operational readiness activities, multi-partner coordination, and early insights into scaling V2X technologies for real-world transportation operations and traveler information delivery. Attendees will gain perspective on the challenges and opportunities associated with deploying V2X technologies across complex, multi-jurisdictional environments, as well as the broader implications for future digital infrastructure, safety, mobility, and interoperability initiatives nationwide.
