Reema Griffith has been the Executive Director of the Washington State Transportation Commission since 2005. Under her leadership, the Transportation Commission serves as the State Tolling Authority for roads and the ferry system, authors the state’s 20-year transportation policy plan, and provides policy and fiscal guidance to the State Legislature and Governor. Since 2012, Reema has led the Commission’s Road Usage Charge (RUC) Assessment and Statewide Pilot Program, which includes extensive policy research and the conduct of two RUC pilots. Prior to the Commission, Reema served as a Senior Policy & Fiscal Analyst to the State House and Senate Transportation Committees for 8 years.
