Tracy Larkin Thomason is the Director of the Nevada Department of Transportation with over 30 years of experience in transportation leadership, industry collaboration, and strategic planning. She is a transportation innovator, applying her unique and diverse experiences in visionary leadership to advance a future transportation network that benefits all.
Her slogan is “People, Partnerships and Technology”. The transportation network is to serve the people, this is achieved by partnerships and technology is a tool to help.
Tracy holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering and a master’s degree in business administration, both from the University of Nevada, Reno. She is a Certified Public Manager, a Professional Traffic Operations Engineer, and a Registered Professional Engineer in Nevada.
