Jeromy Neumann serves as deputy director for Enforcement and Compliance, leading the agency’s Enforcement and Compliance Division, Audit and Analysis, Enterprise Safety and Business Continuity, and Emergency Management. In this role, he also oversees ADOT’s Traffic Operations Center and Incident Response Unit. Before coming to ADOT in 2023 as an executive project manager, Jeromy worked in law enforcement at the Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) for more than 22 years, serving in supervisory and managerial positions. He held command-level positions in Training, Professional Standards, Major Crimes, the Highway Patrol Metro East District, the Project Management Office, and assignments in division offices. In his last assignment at AZDPS, Jeromy served as a captain in the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division. His extensive career experience includes several leadership opportunities revolving around the planning, execution and delivery of various projects. Jeromy is a graduate of Northwestern University’s School of Police Staff and Command. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice from Eastern New Mexico University, along with a Master of Science in leadership from Grand Canyon University.
