John is a Vice President with Cambridge Systematics and the firm's State DOT Market Lead. John has worked with multiple state DOTs, metropolitan and regional planning organizations, multi-state coalitions, and other public and private entities to understand trends, disruptions, and potential futures; define visions and goals; and develop and implement long-range and strategic plans. He has served as Project Director, Project Manager, or Senior Adviser for the development and implementation of strategic or long-range transportation plans in more than 10 States. He also has supported multi-state coalitions such as The Eastern Transportation Coalition and the I-80 Corridor Coalition on advancing real-time situational awareness and coordinated operations along multi-state corridors. He has also led multiple national research projects for the Transportation Research Board, including the shared transportation vision or "moonshot" developed and adopted by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials Board of Directors.
