Elizabeth is the director of communication for the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT). She has worked in the transportation industry for 16 years, with experience in positions ranging from public involvement to policy and legislation to communications. She believes that government can be a positive institution with the opportunity to systemically improve well-being in communities. Elizabeth earned a Master of Applied Positive Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania, where she studied the relationship between quality of life and transportation for her capstone project. Using the principles of positive psychology, she seeks to “grow the good” both internally at UDOT and in Utah’s communities.
