Jennifer Krygowski is the Deputy Director – Chief of Staff at AASHTO. Her professional experience includes over two decades of transportation policy experience working in Congressional, federal agency, and non-profit association roles. As Deputy Director – Chief of Staff, Krygowski, oversees the engineering, safety and mobility, publications, and meetings/member services divisions at AASHTO. In this role, Krygowski works with the respective directors and team members of those divisions to provide leadership and guidance for the work of AASHTO's committees, the production of the association's technical standards and publications, and the coordination of more than two dozen industry meetings and conferences. Prior to coming to AASHTO, Krygowski served as general counsel and executive vice president for legal affairs at the American Trucking Associations. Additionally, Krygowski spent over a decade as a professional staff member at the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, including as general counsel and deputy staff director. Earlier in her career, she served at the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
