Breakout Sessions A: Frameworks for Collaboration: Sustainable Models for Joint Response
Building durable partnerships before crises occur. Effective emergency response depends on governance structures, trust, and sustainable partnerships. These sessions explore frameworks for joint response, including governance models, mutual aid and benefit agreements, funding mechanisms, and approaches for building cross-sector trust before emergencies occur.
Sustainable Models for Joint Response: Governance models, mutual aid benefit agreements, and funding mechanisms.
Panelists will highlight the needs and gaps for mutual aid agreements and funding mechanisms at the federal, regional and state level. Participants will explore an understanding of current state and ideal state for governance models and whether there is a need for a national collaborative model for transportation and multi-state emergency response.
